Paul leads on a variety of workstreams to improve infrastructure delivery within the public sector. Paul is head the Infrastructure Technology at Scottish Futures Trust which includes leading the Building Information Modelling (BIM) programme on behalf of Scottish Government. This seeks to improve the use of information and technology through the whole asset life cycle to derive enhanced performance.
In addition, he was involved in Scottish Governments Review of Public Sector Procurement in Construction. Paul led the creation of various innovative digital tools and guidance including Scottish Governments Community Benefits Toolkit for Construction, the Whole Life Appraisal Tool for Construction and he also developed the Community Infrastructure Benchmark Database for the public sector within Scotland.
Paul is a quantity surveyor by profession and began his career delivering cost management services on variety of public and private sector projects before joining Scottish Futures Trust in 2012. His expertise and experience is providing commercial, procurement and digital transformation support to improve whole life outcomes within the built environment.
