My name is Øystein Ulvestad. Translating it to English, my name becomes Eyeball Wolf-city, so I normally introduce myself as Einstein. I’ve got a master’s degree in structural engineering from NTNU, Norway. (2000) I specialize in model-based projecting, drawingless design and parametric design of concrete bridges. This includes the BIM-model for the world’s first concrete bridge built without drawings. I have 19 years of varied experience in the field of civil and structural engineering which the last 9 have comprised senior managerial positions. I’ve been in the employ of both international companies and private national consultants and he is experienced in working in and managing multi-disciplinary teams of professionals. My work has encompassed project management, detail civil- and construction engineering, supervision of construction and site maintenance works. I’ve acquired competence within a broad range of civil engineering fields with emphasis on construction of concrete bridges, offshore structures, industrial production plants and sport arenas. Related tasks include office startup in Malmø, Sweden, outsourcing of work to Poland and India, and teaching and lectures on model-based and drawingless project workflows. I am creative, efficient, systematic and an easy hang around.
