I’m a Marie-Curie Early Stage Researcher at University College Dublin’s Energy Institute, and a member of the CBIM European Training Network who are at the forefront of scientific output relating to digitalisation within the built environment.
Critical to the procurement ambitions of the European Union towards ESG and climate targets, my current research explores Life Cycle Costing in Asset Management, and seeks to scale-up value-based decision-making methods to support a wide range of stakeholders. The MSCA fellowship has allowed me to meld practical insight with the latest scientific theory, resulting in impactful, globally relevant outcomes with implications to policy.
I have a background in Construction Management (MSc. Helsinki Metropolia/HTW Berlin) and Architectural Technology (BSc TU Dublin), over a decade of diverse construction industry experience across several continents, and am particularly passionate about natural building and historical building conservation. I first spoke at and attended RTC in Delft 2013, and over the past decade have enjoyed watching and contributing to the metamorphosis into BILT!
